TRAINING FOR EVERYDAY & EXPERT MOVERS
Whether you simply want to feel better in your everyday life or improve your performance, I can help you get there.
Hi, I’m Emily!
I love helping people discover true enjoyment for being in their body by focusing on the innate design of movement & learning simple & powerful ways to move that work with the incredible design of their body.
I’ve been a mover my entire life, starting dance at age 3 and going on to graduate with a dual degree in dance from Hollins University. I’ve spent the last 15 years studying mind & body healing techniques, continuing my dance training & becoming certified in the functional movement system Franklin Method - used by top Olympic athletes, Julliard students, & many more.
After becoming a mother, a business owner, and life getting busy I’ve leaned on these skills & knowledge of movement more than ever.
Feeling good is a powerful thing. Enjoying being in your body is powerful too. Your entire life is more enjoyable, you’ve got energy to do the things you love & need to do when you feel good. That is priceless.

My Movement Philosophy…
Most people think of being a good mover as being good at a sport or movement system. But being a good mover isn’t about being good at the moves in the studio or gym, its about feeling good in your everyday life - whether you’re cooking, resting, walking, doing a strange move while unpacking boxes, reaching up to that high shelf in your closet, picking up your baby while you’re brushing your teeth, taking a long hike with friends, sitting at your desk, you name it! Your body doesn’t have to hold you back, in fact the world should be available to you without hesitation.
Being a good mover is about being able to live your best life & not worry about your body or be limited by it, and enjoy getting to move in all the ways your life requires.
Understanding how your body is designed to move & giving it the chance to explore it’s full potential is the key to training that makes you feel good.
My workout sessions contain three primary factors:
tension release with ball rolling
brain-body connection exercises (which open mobility, flexibility & stability)
resistance band workouts tailored to you that integrate it all together & make you stronger.
When we begin working together we’ll assess your challenges & goals & make a plan for noticeable & lasting results.
